Maximizing Your Unit's Impact: Plan to Attend Council Virtual Roundtable Discussions

Our Council will be hosting a Virtual Roundtable starting September 19th at 6pm. This Roundtable will be held every Third Thursday via zoom and will have the following format: 

  • 6:00pm – District Specific Sessions facilitated by District Key Three / District Executive 

  • 6:30pm – Council Session facilitated by Council Commissioner, VP of District Operations 

  • 6:45pm – Program specific sessions 

    • Cub Scouts – Facilitated by Justin Hines, Carol Parman and AJ Soliz Chavez 

    • Scouts BSA – Facilitated by Jeremy Kern, Adam Bell, Denise Trowbridge and Brittney Brewer 

    • Exploring – As need arises with development of new units this fall 

  • 7:45pm – Evening End 


This Virtual Roundtable is for all unit leaders and adults in unit service to receive support. During the District Sessions, each District will have the opportunity to share upcoming activities, provide feedback on unit needs, coordinate pick up / delivery of Scout Shop orders with District Executive. This is not meant to be a District Committee meeting, rather an opportunity for unit leaders to discuss upcoming activity, share feedback and needs from unit perspectives and engage in fellowship. 


The Council session will bring announcements from the Council committees in Membership, Program, Training, Activities, Fundraising and reminders about office closures and updates.  

The Program specific session will have content presented by volunteer leaders that matters in the specific program; Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA. Topics could include Youth Led programs, Patrol Leaders Council, weekend activities, long term camping, Social Media Marketing, updates to advancements, engaging your local school / community, local unit fundraising and more. These topics will be guided by experienced Unit Volunteers and will offer an opportunity to share experience and hurdles from roundtable participants.  


Please share the zoom link invite with your unit leaders and families so they can attend! This event is NOT limited to Cub Masters, Scoutmasters, Committee Chairs, Den Leaders, or registered leaders. If you are not able to attend, but someone else from your unit can attend, please invite them!
